The Business Excellence Awards is the Mission Regional Chamber of Commerce’s way of recognizing the business community for its consistent and invaluable efforts in maintaining a lively professional community and superior workplace practices within Mission. This premier black tie event cultivates the best of the best to celebrate achievement in 9 distinct categories, created to capture the diverse strengths of Mission Business. Annually they strive to improve on their past events and add a new sparkle and shine.

The Mission Regional Chamber of Commerce 2019 Business Excellence Awards will be taking place Friday Jan 31, 2020 – 5:30 PM – 11:30 PM PST. More details to come.

Nominations for the Business Excellence Awards ran from May 1st to August 31st, 2019 – this process is where they asked the community (the experts) to let them know who the business leaders are in the community!

Now, they’re on the NEXT STEP – running September 15th to October 31st, YOU will get to be the judge.

Public voting will take place on the Mission Regional Chamber of Commerce’s website from September 15th 2019 until October 31st 2019. There, they will list all the Business Excellence nominees in their appropriate categories using a single choice survey system. Only one vote per IP address is allowed.
Vote for the business you believe excels at what they do! The Top 3 businesses in their respective categories, chosen by YOU will go on as Finalists!

The next step after voting will take place November 1st to January 17th, 2020: The Judging Process

Once the Finalists are determined, and their judging packages are received, each package will be copied and given to the panel of judges for review. The judges will be comprised of the chamber’s Board of Directors, long time members and engaged community volunteers. Finalists will be announced during the beginning portion of November 2019.
