Barn fire in East Abbotsford

At least 1 cow is dead following a massive barn fire yesterday.
The blaze broke out around 6:30am on the corner of No. 2 Road and Tolmie Road in East Abbotsford.
The fire department says nearly all of the 280 other cows and 100 calves escaped the flames.
Neighboring farms have rallied to relocate the cows until new accommodation can be found.
