Garth Brooks return to the stage is definitely paying off. After being named the top-earning country artist of the past year by Forbes, Brooks has taken the cake for country touring revenue so far in 2015, according to Pollstar’s mid-year report.

Garth has earned a whopping $79.9 million just in the first half of the year, playing 74 shows thus far. He ranks at a very close second in the overall list, behind only the legendary  Rolling Stones, who brought in $80.7 million. Brooks, however, charged an average of 2.5 times less per ticket than the Mick and Keith and the boys
