Fire Inside Trailer on 3rd Avenue Property

On Sunday, August 20, 2017, at 7:45 pm, the Abbotsford Fire Rescue Service (AFRS), Abbotsford Police Department and BC Ambulance Service were called to a fire located inside a trailer in the 34000 block of 3^rd Avenue.  The trailer was part of a business operation involved in commercial truck repair.  A lone 45-year-old victim was located in the trailer.  He was very severely injured and was transported to hospital.  Regrettably, a few hours after arrival, the victim passed away.

Thoughts are with the family and friends of this man.

AFRS, APD and WorkSafe BC are all involved in the investigation into the fire.
