RCMPcarThere was quite a large police presence in downtown Chilliwack Wednesday morning….now we know why.
RCMP say they were tipped off on Tuesday about the possibility that a murder suspect from Alberta might have been seen in the area. 28 yr old Jordan Wendland was wanted for 2nd degree murder and aggravated assault in connection to an incident in Grand Prairie. He was found at a home in downtown Chilliwack early Wednesday and taken into custody. Wendland is from the lower mainland.
