The Justice Institute of BC hosted a huge event at the Canada Education Park in Chilliwack on Thursday.  Paramedic and nursing trainees from across the province and even parts of Alberta were in town for some pretty incredible hands on training.  There were 3 real life emergency scenarios for the students to work through…a building fire, a shooting at the border, and dual drownings in the Vedder River.  BCs Mobile Medical Unit, basically a hospital on wheels, was also in town, which allowed the students to work together and learn about protocol in emergency situations
