Virtanen to play at 2016 World Juniors

The Canucks might be struggling this year, but they have some young players who are coveted.
Abbotsford’s Jake Virtanen has been given permission by the Canucks to join Team Canada for the World Juniors, which start in Finland on Boxing Day. The 19 yr old Virtanen has 4 points in 19 games in his rookie season. The Canucks will decide by Friday whether to loan Jared McCann to Team Canada as well.
