The latest installment of the Fast & Furious franchise: Furious 7 stormed the box office this Easter long weekend with a franchise best of $143.6 million!

Furious 7 also knocks off the previous best April opening box office record-holder, Captain America:  The Winter Soldier, which earned $95 million on the same weekend a year ago. The film also features a special tribute to Paul Walker, who ironically passed away in a car crash in late 2013.
