Our ONE TO WATCH spotlight is on FIVE ROSES and and their new single “Sweetheart Of Summer”

he duo of Jade and Zach are from Montreal and met by chance at the barbershop where Jade worked. Before long, the two began writing and officially formed Five Roses!  Inspired by acts like Lady A and Little Big Town, Five Roses released their debut EP independently in 2018, and have spent the past few years performing across the country. The duo, consisting of Jade Godin and Zach Ouimet, was born out of circumstance after a chance encounter at the barbershop where Godin worked. Finding easy musical chemistry following a jam session, the pair began writing and officially formed Five Roses. In 2021, they made their MDM Recordings Inc. debut with ‘Might As Well Be Me’ (produced by Danick Dupelle), which has garnered over 1M combined streams to date and earned them the title of iHeartRadio/Pure Country Future Star. Five Roses has shared the stage with fellow Canadian country artists Brett Kissel, Meghan Patrick, The Reklaws and most recently as direct support for Tebey on the Shotgun Rider Part II Tour. The duo has made appearances during Canadian Music Week and the Canadian Country Music Association’s country music week with the rest of the MDM roster. Five Roses continue to work on new material with Dupelle, delivering a fresh, modern sound to the Canadian country music scene, including single and video for ‘Our Days Are Numbered’, ‘Feel Good’, and ‘To The Moon And Back’ which are included on the 2022 Top of the Country semi-finalist’s 2022 sophomore EP, Jukebox Vibrations. Kicking off 2023 with the release of ‘Sweetheart Of Summer’, Five Roses are working on new music to be included on their Jukebox Vibrations’ Deluxe Edition EP set for release in April 2023.

Jukebox Vibrations, the nine-track sophomore EP from country duo Five Roses is available today.
