The 55th CMA Awards will be country star Luke Bryans “kind of night” as he hosts the annual show this November.

This will be Bryans first time hosting the annual award show, but the two-time CMA Entertainer of the Year winner isn’t shy when it comes to showbiz. From 2013-2017 he co-hosted for the Academy of Music Awards and has been serving as a judge on “American Idol” since 2018. The ceremony is set to air on November 10th at 8p.m. ET/PT live from Nashville.

“Being asked to host the CMA Awards was definitely something I put a lot of thought into before answering. The pressure that comes along with that can be overwhelming, but knowing I get to help honor and celebrate so many of my friends, I knew it was something I couldn’t turn down.” Bryan told fans in a statement.

This year will be the first time the CMAs have had a single host in 18 years, the last solo host being Vince Gill in 2003. Luke Bryan is also nominated for musical event of the year alongside Jordan Davis.
