A country continues to mourn for the families of Saskatchewan junior hockey team, the Humboldt Broncos. This past weekend, the bus carrying the Broncos players and their coaches to a semifinal playoff game, when they collided with a tractor-trailer. Of the 29 on the bus, 15 have passed away. Tributes have poured in from across the country, from celebrities, PM Justin Trudeau and the Queen herself.

A GoFundMe campaign had been started over the weekend, having raised four million dollars by Sunday morning. The PM was among the four thousand who attended a vigil for the team Sunday night at the arena in Humboldt.

Ben Affleck made a wish come true for a young man in hospice.

People reports:

Ben Affleck answered the Bat signal Thursday to make a young fan’s dream come true.

Although the actor, 45, is currently filming Triple Frontier in Hawaii, he was able to connect with 11-year-old Mukuta via FaceTime. In a photo shared by Atlanta Hospice, you can see Mukuta, a refugee from the Congo dying from cancer, speaking with Affleck via the video call.

And I didn’t realize this was a thing, but there’s actually a list of books that are the most “challenged”, meaning, those most opposed by parents and community groups.

This year? Well, the Associated Press says:

Asher’s “Thirteen Reasons Why” and Alexie’s “The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian” top the American Library Association’s list of “challenged” books from 2017, those most objected to by parents and other community members. The list also includes Harper Lee’s “To Kill a Mockingbird” and one of last year’s top-selling young adult novels, Angie Thomas’ “The Hate U Give.”
