In just two days since being uploaded (on March 24, 2016), a video showing actor Ben Affleck‘s expression after Yahoo‘s Tom Butler asks about the mixed reviews for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice has gone viral!


YouTube user Sabconth edited in Simon & Garfunkle‘s The Sound of Silence to the video/interview and zooms in on the actor’s face to set the tone of the his ‘sad’ expression. The video now has over 12 million views as of Saturday, March 26, 2016. The interview was conducted during the London premiere of the DC Comics superhero film.

I really feel for Ben now.  I think he’s a talented actor and it definitely goes to show that we’re human after all.  We can be vulnerable and it’s okay to be human.  It there’s one thing that I can say to Ben, is this – and ironically it’s a quote from The Dark Knight Trilogy – “Why do we fall?  So we can learn to pick ourselves up.”
