Recycle your Christmas tree

If you still need to get rid of your Christmas tree, local muncipalities are allowing you leave it out with the curbside recycling.  In Chilliwack, there’s a cut off date of January 14th, while in Abbotsford there is no cut off date.  You do need to make sure all the decorations and tinsel are off the tree or they can’t take it.  You can also drop your tree off for a $4 donation at the Net Zero Waste composting facility on Gladwin Rd in Abbotsford, or in Chilliwack at the Parr Rd Green Depot, where they’re also accepting food and cash donations for the food bank.
