WATCH: Canadian children welcoming Syrian children to our country

I always know I’m lucky to live in Canada.  But there are times where I feel just a bit extra patriotic.  This is one of those times.  There are a lot of wonderful people in the USA, but unfortunately most of the media headlines right now are about Donald Trump’s comments regarding Muslims.  Of course he doesn’t speak for all Amercians, but it doesn’t look good, and when you see that Canada is bringing in 25,000 Syrian refugees by the end of February, it presents a stark contrast in ideals.  Check out this video from World Vision that was released this week, showing Canadian kids welcoming Syrians to our country.  It’s pretty amazing when you think about it….and one more reason why Canada rocks!
