Purple Light Nights Campaign

One in four families is impacted by violence…it can be physical or verbal.  Several community groups in Abbotsford and Chilliwack are taking part in the annual Purple Light Nights campaign for Domestic Violence Awareness Month.  Businesses and homes will be pulling out their purple light bulbs from previous years and putting them in the front doorways.  If you don’t have one already, you can go to Blackwood Lumber in Abbotsford.  Several downtown businesses in Chilliwack have them as well.  For more info, go to purplelightnights.org
