Teenager hit by out of control vehicle; driver arrested

A 13 year old boy was taken to hospital on the weekend after he was hit by a car while riding his scooter, and it looks like the driver may have been drinking.
It happened very early Saturday morning in the area of Essendene and Gladys Ave in Abbotsford….it appears the car was going fast and lost control, hitting another vehicle and then the boy.
Abbotsford Police say the driver of the silver Mustang was arrested is now facing possible criminal charges, including impaired driving.  The boy has non life-threatening injuries.
