judgeThe court of appeal has upheld the conviction for a violent home invasion in Mission from 2010.

Kenneth William Chudley was convicted and sentenced to 10 years in prison for his role in a home invasion robbery during which the homeowner was hit with a baseball bat, shot in the leg, and tied up.

During the appeal Chudley’s lawyer argued the conviction was based on fingerprints and other circumstantial evidence.

However in the decision, a judge stated fingerprint evidence can be enough for conviction and there were no errors made in the first trial.
