judgeA dirt bike rider arrested last year after leading Mission RCMP on dangerous chases and performing other dangerous stunts has been sentenced in Abbotsford provincial court.

Clayton Pierce was handed a two year driving prohibition and $1000 in fines for dangerous driving and driving while prohibited.

Last year police had heard a number of reports of a man recklessly riding his dirt bike late at night causing disturbances.

He would goad police into chasing him before running red lights to get away, making it too dangerous for police to pursue, but was finally arrested August 16th.

Pierce also faces several charges related to a home invasion, those charges are still before the courts.
