Abbotsford getting electric car fast charger

Those who have electric cars probably don’t really enjoy waiting the five hours it takes to charge up their cars at the typical charger.

Well now those in Abbotsford will be able to get a quick charge at the Bakerview Ecodairy.

June 23rd they’re unveiling Abbotsford’s first level 3 charger, which can get a car to 80% in about half an hour.

There are only three other similar chargers in the Fraser Valley, and they’re in Langley and Surrey.

The Ecodairy has an anaerobic digester which converts manure to biogas, which will be used to generate energy to power the charger.
